Several Lindenhurst Middle School students were honored recently at the monthly Breakfast for Champions celebration, coordinated by teacher Kathy Curran.

Hosted by the Lindenhurst Public Library, the breakfast, a tradition for more than 25 years, honors students who exemplify Lindy Pride at the middle school. Students are nominated by teachers for a variety of reasons and recognized publicly with certificates of merit in front of proud parents, teachers, administrators and peers.

The students recognized at the October Breakfast for Champions were Andrew Bruno, Anthony DeGaetano, Jake Giancontieri, Owen Giancontieri, Lukas-Carter Gonzalez, Austin Guo, Julianna Hoffmans, Juliana Johnson, Justin Johnson, Kylie Rojecki and Aiden Soyack.
