Four students from Ms. Turner’s Social Studies class spent time throughout November collecting supplies to donate and ship to US servicemen & women stationed abroad. Mr. Chris Gaeckel of the Lindenhurst VFW thanked them for their efforts, spoke to them about what it means to receive supplies from home, and presented each of the students & Ms. Turner with a cerificate of appreciation from the VFW.
