First graders at William Rall participated in Black History Month by reading stories and learning about influential African Americans.  Black History Month is a time to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black Americans. First graders learned about important figures like Martin Luther King Jr. and Rosa Parks, and created a gallery walk with some of the people they studied!
