West Gates Students Turn Back Time With Historical Figure Wax Museum

Second grade students at West Gates Avenue Elementary School recently held their annual wax museum of historical figures. Upon reading biographies and researching figures throughout history, the students created reports and biographical trifolds which they then presented to their peers. Students then dressed the part and hosted an exhibit for their parents and other students throughout the building.

Students took on the role of historical figures such as Walt Disney, Amelia Earhart, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Isaac Newton and Betsy Ross.
