On Friday, May 19 the Lindenhurst Middle School sixth grade band under the direction of Mrs. April Rosequist took part in the Long Island Music Festival at the Suffolk County Community College campus in Brentwood.

The band did an outstanding job earning a score of 95 which is a superior rating. Following the festival, the musicians went to Adventureland for a beautiful day of fun with their friends.
