On May 11, Lindenhurst Union Free School District Coordinator of Instructional Technology and Library Media Specialists Jennifer Freedman received the 2022-2023 Administrator of the Year award from the Western Suffolk BOCES School Library System Council at the School Library System’s 8th Leadership and Information Symposium at the Western Suffolk BOCES Conference Center.

This award is presented to an administrator who has demonstrated a commitment to the growth of school libraries by actively promoting school libraries, providing support for library programs and creating an environment that encourages staff and students to use libraries.
