In celebration of Read Across America Day, Lindenhurst Middle School sixth grade English students gathered in the library to be read different stories by teachers who volunteered to read to further fuel an interest in literature and storytelling.

Read Across America is an initiative launched by the National Education Association and is the nation’s largest celebration of reading that focuses on motivating children and teens to read through events, partnerships and the utilization of reading resources.
