This month, students at Daniel Street Elementary School participated in World Read Aloud Day. Students joined in on the class’s annual “Teddy Bear Reading Day,” when students were encouraged to bring a stuffed animal, blanket and a few favorite books to school and then spent the day reading, listening to books read aloud and engaging in literacy activities.
