West Gates Elementary School students in Jenn Crowley’s first grade class recently participated in an activity exploring different cultures facilitated by English as a New Language teacher Ms. Rhodes.

As part of the lesson, families worked with their child to discuss their family traditions and decorated a bag about their tradition. Students then shared their bags with the class, wrote about their tradition and created homes to show different cultural traditions.
