Lindenhurst Middle School students in Mrs. Sutera’s, Mrs. Mansfield’s and Mrs. Giugliano’s family and consumer science classes recently received a visit from two Ridgewood Savings Bank employees to discuss the Smart Savers School Banking Youth Program with the students.

As part of the visit, students were given a packet from the bank with all the information necessary to open a savings account and discussed the importance of saving money with the employees. The visit served as a valuable introduction to money and budgeting and aims to inspire students to make savings an important and routine part of their lives.
