At the Dec. 7 meeting of the Lindenhurst Union Free School District Board of Education, Coordinator of Career and Technical Education Tom Scarola delivered a presentation to the Board on the district’s career and technical education program and alternative pathways to graduation.

The informative presentation outlined the current program, recent additions to the CTE program and plans for continued growth in the future.

As part of the presentation, four current students enrolled in CTE classes shared their experiences in the classes they take and the positive impact it has had on their educational experience in Lindenhurst.
