Thirteen Lindenhurst Middle School students were recently recognized as winners of the Town of Babylon “Littering is Trashy” Poster Contest at a ceremony at Town Hall on Tuesday, Nov. 29.

The following students’ posters were chosen earlier this year to be printed out and made into signs that were placed around the Town of Babylon: seventh graders Brianna Cabrera, Emmalynn Capriola, Kailyn Cave, Lia DeLucia, Ava Hale, Nicholas Kreutzberg, Alani Mancia, Jazmyn Ortiz, James Patrick, Alexandra Pietrola and Amelia Przyborowski and eighth graders Nicola Chrzanowski and Cassandra Herrador.
