Harding Avenue Elementary School first grade students in Leighann Hollweg’s class recently participated in an activity fueled by fall spirit that shared students’ favorite book characters.

As part of the activity, students chose their favorite book character and recreated that character using a pumpkin. Additionally, students completed a book report about their character where they shared information they learned during their reading with their peers.
