Lindenhurst Art Students Have Strong Showing at All County Exhibit

Anthony Papa Wins Best in Suffolk in Mixed Media Category

Lindenhurst, NEW YORK (February 2024)—Under the direction of their teacher AnneJeannine Cuozzo, Lindenhurst art students had a strong showing at the Suffolk County Art Leaders Association All County and Senior Scholarship Show, held on February 10th. Student Anthony Papa won first place in the county for mixed media at the show, while both Brittany Mobayed and Arianna Iannotti had pieces on display.

The exhibit and competition took place at the Old Town Hall in Babylon Village. Anthony, Brittany and Arianna competed against high school art students from across Suffolk County. Anthony won a $50 prize for his win in the mixed media category, Brittany had three pieces on display, and Arianna had one.

“We are very proud of our students for representing Lindenhurst with distinction at this art exhibition,” said Dr. Robert Lombardo Director of Fine and Performing Arts. “Congratulations to Anthony for this wonderful recognition.”
