Lindenhurst Cosmetology Program Celebrates First Licensed Graduates

The Lindenhurst School District launched its Cosmetology Program in September of 2024, with an inaugural cohort of 14 students. After completing the program's rigorous 1,000-hour training requirement over a two-year period, students became eligible to sit for the New York State Cosmetology Licensing Examination.
Pictured with their instructor, Jaclyn Coscia, are the first seven students to complete the entire program in Lindenhurst and successfully pass the New York State Cosmetology Board Examination. These students are now the first fully licensed cosmetologists to graduate from the district's cosmetology program.
