Seventh Grader AJ Palladino Finishes 6th at NYSPHSAA Swimming & Diving Championships

At the NYSPHSAA Swimming & Diving Championships, Lindenhurst’s AJ Palladino delivered an outstanding performance, earning a 6th place finish among 30 of the top divers from across New York State with a score of 464.15. With this result, AJ adds another impressive honor to an already remarkable season. After capturing the League 2 and Section XI County Championship titles, AJ now also earns recognition as both All-Long Island and All–New York State.
What makes the achievement even more impressive is that AJ is only in seventh grade. His success reflects his dedication, strong work ethic, and determination to continually improve.
AJ’s accomplishments are also a testament to the support and guidance of the Lindenhurst diving program. Varsity Assistant Coach Tom Cornelia, who has been part of the program since 1993, has played a key role in helping develop the team’s athletes. Coach Cornelia’s commitment and passion for the program embody what it means to be a Bulldog.
The Lindenhurst community is incredibly proud of AJ and looks forward to watching his continued success in the years ahead.
