Congratulations to our awesome summer readers! 

Our students had an incredible summer of reading, logging an amazing 165,267 minutes between June 3 and August 5! 

Congratulations to Harding Avenue School, this year’s Summer Reading Challenge winner! With one-third of its student population registered, Harding Avenue took home the trophy! 

West Gates finished a very close second, while William Rall came in third. Both schools received achievement certificates to proudly display!

A huge thank you to Marisa Crowley, Justine Rivera, and Jessica DeCarlo from the Lindenhurst Memorial Library’s Youth Services Department for joining us to present the trophy to Harding Avenue Principal Mr. Quartararo and Librarian Mrs. Delorfano.

We’re looking forward to increasing participation across all of our schools next summer and continuing the friendly competition!
