Albany Avenue Elementary School library media specialist Sarah Feder was recently named the recipient of the Suffolk School Library Media Association’s 2023 Fresh Start Award.

The Fresh Start award is given to a school librarian who is either in their first years in the profession or their first years in a new school and has showcased an exemplary commitment to the students of their school.
