Alleghany Author Visit Shares Intricacies of Writing and Art

Alleghany Avenue Elementary School fourth and fifth grade students gained expert insight into the creative writing process during a visit from author Cristina Worgul and illustrator Andrew Traficante.

As part of the visit Worgul read her books to students and answered questions about the writing process and how she became an author and made her books. Additionally, Traficante drew caricatures of students to showcase his impressive artistic abilities.
