Red Ribbon Week
Lindenhurst participated in Red Ribbon Week earlier in October. This is a week set aside nationwide to remind us of the healthy decisions we can make to live a drug free life. The students and staff participated in various activities to remind us about the benefits of being drug free. Students received a bracelet to wear each day. We participated in a spirit week, participated in a building wide Red Ribbon Week Pledge, along with other various activities in school. Ideas for healthy things to do at home were also shared. The focus was to remind students of the importance of healthy decision-making.
Below are a few photos.
Monday was the kick off so the students wore Red to school. Today was Team up Against Drugs Day - Wear your Favorite Team Shirt or Jersey!
Thursday is Put Drugs to Sleep: Wear your favorite PJ’s to school and Friday is Show your School Spirit: Wear Lindy Gear or something Green to school
