The Lindenhurst Girls Varsity Volleyball team, led by Coach Kait Williams, hosted a TEACHER APPRECIATION EVENT, prior to their game on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.  

Members of the team invited a teacher, who the athletes themselves described, "Has had a significant impact on their time here at Lindenhurst High School!" 

Prior to the game, there was a brief ceremony where each teacher was announced, the athlete gave them a rose, and they were escorted onto the court to be thanked and honored before the entire crowd. 

The athletes themselves initially approached Coach Williams about hosting this event and the night ended up being a very touching tribute to the impact teachers have on the lives of students and athletes. 

Thank you Lindenhurst Girls Varsity Volleyball and Coach Williams, for taking the time to create such a heartwarming TEACHER APPRECIATION EVENT !!!

(P.S...........the night was capped off by a 3-0 straight set win by the BULLDOGS !!!)
