A collaborative effort at Lindenhurst Middle School recently produced an impressive community service effort as numerous student organizations came together to collect and organize food donations prior to Thanksgiving.

As part of the food drive, students from the honor society, student council, Leaders Club and the Lindy Cares Club collected food during the two-week food drive and separated and packaged it before it was to be donated to local families in need.
