Last month students at William Rall Elementary School participated in fire prevention week, when the North Lindenhurst Fire Department visited to present its annual fire prevention assembly.

Students could crawl through a smoke house that simulates a fire emergency in addition to learning about a fire truck that was brought to the school. Additionally, students in grades three through five walked over to the North Lindenhurst Fire House where they had the chance to see and learn about multiple apparatus that are used by the fire department to support the community.
