The Lindenhurst Union Free School District recently hosted a new teacher orientation during which it welcomed more than 25 teachers to the district, ranging from elementary to high school. Teaching areas include elementary education, math, ENL, music and special education.

As part of the two-day orientation, the educators were introduced to district administration and reviewed expectations for student achievement, instructional focus areas and educational technology.

The orientation program allowed the educators to familiarize themselves with district policies and procedures, while engaging in informative conversations with fellow faculty members and staff.
